This Journal uses the Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) system to preserve the metadata of the journal articles in a permanent and secure file (disclaimer). LOCKSS is an open source program developed by the Stanford University Library that allows publishers to preserve article metadata.
