Abstract

The objective of this article is to identify the personal factors of the entrepreneurs of the Woman Power community in the City of Cusco, being important and determining for the sustainability and success of female entrepreneurship, considering female entrepreneurship as a means that promotes equal opportunities, the reduction of gender gaps and poverty, in addition, promotes competitiveness, creativity and innovation in the market, promoting economic growth. This research article has a basic methodology, descriptive scope and qualitative design; The in-depth interview technique was applied in a convenience study sample of 11 entrepreneurs from the Woman Power community. The findings show that the most predominant personal characteristics are defined by the age range they have, highlighting the passion for what they do and economic independence as motivation; Entrepreneurship based on opportunity and opportunity/need predominates; Likewise, it is evident that all the entrepreneurs are professionals and that in addition to having their business, some entrepreneurs have an additional professional job; Within the competencies, communication and resilience skills, knowledge in digital marketing, visionary and positive attitudes stand out, which have been and are essential to consolidate itself since its beginning in the market.
