Levels of Burnout Syndrome in telephone operators of Essalud en Linea-Cusco 2022

Abstract

This study belongs to the field of strategic and administrative management, in the area of human talent management or human resources administration. The present investigation had as objective: to determine: what were the levels of burnout syndrome in telephone operators of the Essalud en Línea of the hospital Adolfo Guevara Velasco Essalud Cusco in the year 2022. The research was descriptive, mixed and cross-sectional design. The population has been made up of 20 telephone operators who serve the public user who daily use the services of  Essalud en Línea, being the link between the hospital and the population of the entire region of Cusco. Instruments were used to collect the data and thus be able to carry out the study, which is why the survey technique was applied and as an instrument the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire of the year 1986. The most relevant findings regarding the prevalence of burnout in telephone operators of Essalud en Línea of the hospital Adolfo Guevara Velasco Essalud Cusco in the year 2022 were that they presented average levels of burnout whose figure is 60 percent. On the other hand, the prevalence of burnout in terms of its dimensions, it was found that 55 percent of the telephone operators  present  a low  personal  fulfillment,  also  that  50  percent presented  a depersonalization  that  moderately  and  finally  the emotional  exhaustion affected highly to 35 percent of the telephone operators.
