This article presents a description of the central historical events that gave rise to the so-called postcolonial creole social contract, the imaginary and the central political ideas that were embodied in the first Peruvian constitutionalism. Explains the impact of these events on constitutional speeches regarding the nation
and citizenship. He describes the constitutionalism of the first years of the republic as the continuation of colonial political domination
